Release Information

The Znode 10.1.0.0 release introduces new features, enhancements, performance upgrades, and several minor bug fixes.

What’s New

Terminate Stuck or In-Progress Processes from Admin

• A new section titled "Terminate Stuck Process(es)" has been added under Diagnostics & Maintenance > Maintenance, below "Clear Publish Data" to terminate any/all of the stuck processes.
• "Terminate Stuck Process(es)" feature allows administrators to terminate unresponsive processes either automatically based on configurations in Global Settings or manually through the Admin Console.
• Impacted Areas:
  • Applies to all environments (Preview and Production) and the following processes:
    • Store/Product/Catalog/CMS/Category Publish
    • PIM and CMS Index Creation
    • Export and Import Processes

New Promotion Type: Shipping with Carrier under weight

• A new promotion type called “Shipping with Carrier Under Weight” has been added to the promotions module to provide greater flexibility and control over shipping discounts based on carrier selection and shipment weight thresholds.

Performance Upgrades

• Optimizations are done to reduce load times and improve responsiveness when accessing the Admin dashboard.
• Enhanced Category Import Performance in DevCenter to support large-scale imports of up to 10,000 records, ensuring smoother and faster data processing during bulk operations.

Deprecations

• The "Enable Address Validation" setting under Store settings has been deprecated.
• WYSIWYG editor under Store Experience has been deprecated.

Breaking Changes 

• This release is fully backward-compatible and does not include any breaking changes.

Black Box Improvements

Imports

• Accounts Import – Non-US Addresses Issue
  Fixed an issue where account import failed or produced errors when processing records with non-US addresses.
  
  
• Product Import – Errors on Repeated Import
  Resolved two critical issues during product import:
  • The first attempt to import resulted in a database error.
  • A second import attempt of the same file showed a "Data column must be mapped" error.
    
    
• Customer Import – Allows Invalid Formatting
  Addressed an issue where customer imports were accepted with leading and trailing spaces in the Username and Email fields, potentially causing login and lookup inconsistencies.

Publishing 

• Catalog Publish Failed When Export is Active
  Added validation to prevent catalog publishing if an export job is in progress, to avoid data conflicts.
  
  
• Store Publish – Progress Bar Not Displayed
  Resolved an issue where the store publish progress bar was not visible.

Marketing

• Newsletter Sign-Ups – Incorrect Sorting
  Fixed an issue where the most recent newsletter sign-up appeared last in the list instead of first, leading to data visibility challenges.
  
  
• Newsletter Sign-Ups – Pagination Not Working
  Resolved a bug where pagination did not respond to the records per page selection, and total pages were not updated accurately.
  
  
• Product Highlights – Generic Error on Association Click
  Clicking on Associated Product under Product Highlights previously resulted in a generic error. This issue has been addressed.
  
  
• Site Search – Incorrect Pagination Display
  Fixed incorrect pagination display in the PIM Index Settings tab of Site Search where it incorrectly showed "Page 0 / 0 Showing 1 - 0 of 0" even when data existed.

CMS and Store Experience

• Page Builder – Category Carousel Duplicates
  Resolved an issue where duplicate categories appeared in the Association List of the Category Carousel widget in the Page Builder.
  
  
• CMS Page – Image Attribute Display
  Fixed a formatting issue where uploaded images were displayed in an enlarged view, not fitting the designated frame.
  
  
• Page Builder Preview – Pages Not Loading
  Resolved continuous loading/spinner issue on previewing Product, Brand Details, and Store Locator pages in Page Builder under Store Experience.

Shipping and Tax

• Custom Shipping Type – Unable to Create or Update
  Fixed functionality issues preventing the creation or update of custom shipping methods through the admin panel.
  
  
• Shipping Calculation Mismatch
  Addressed discrepancies in shipping cost calculations between checkout and actual order summary values.
  
  
• Avalara Tax – Doc Status Not Updated
  Resolved an issue where the Avalara document status remained uncommitted even after order status was changed to Shipped in Znode.

Order Management (OMS)

• Refund – Should Trigger Upon Order Status Update to Failed
  Refunds will now be automatically processed when the order status is updated to "failed" after payment authorization, ensuring no user impact.

UI/UX and System Settings

• Create Quote – Admin UI Issue
  Resolved layout inconsistencies on the Create Quote screen for a more streamlined user experience.
  
  
• Plugin Settings – Save Button Sizing Issue
  Adjusted the styling of the Save button under Plugin settings to match standard UI dimensions and avoid oversized appearance.

Open Source Enhancements and Fixes 

[Z10-24046] - Cart Page – Sign In Message for Logged-In Users

Fixed an issue where the ‘Sign In’ hyperlink and message were incorrectly displayed on the cart page for logged-in users.

[Z10-24013] - Store Locator Map Not Loading

Resolved an issue where the Store Locator map failed to load despite a valid Google Maps API key.

[Z10-23769] -Address Management – Loss of Saved Addresses

Fixed a bug where previously saved addresses were not retained after editing an existing address while placing a new order.

[Z10-23746] - Configurable Product Attributes Displayed Incorrectly

Corrected the display of attribute details in the cart for simple products that also exist as variants under a configurable product.

[Z10-23661] - PDP – Unable to Select Configurable Product Variants

Resolved an issue preventing the selection of product variants on the Product Detail Page.

[Z10-23647] - Guest Checkout – Shipping Methods Not Loading

Fixed a bug where shipping methods were not loading during guest checkout.

[Z10-23565] - Checkout – Infinite Spinner on Quantity Update

Addressed an issue where an infinite spinner appeared in the Total Price field when updating quantity beyond allowed limits; includes cosmetic fixes.

[Z10-23214] - Order History – Print Button Visibility

Improved UI to ensure the Print button in the order history is consistently visible without requiring hover.

[Z10-23182] - Recently Viewed – Quick View Variant Redirect Issue

Fixed incorrect redirect behavior when switching variants of a configurable product from Quick View in the Recently Viewed Products section.

[Z10-22026] - Voucher Handling – Amount to Be Paid Not Updating to $0

Resolved a bug where the Amount to be Paid field did not update to $0 when the voucher value exceeded the order total.

[Z10-21749] - Duplicate Notes/Logs in SPP

Fixed an issue where duplicate notes/logs were created in SPP when user actions triggered logging.

[Z10-21548] - Search – Duplicate Category Names in Popular Categories

Corrected an issue displaying duplicate category names in the Popular Categories section during search.

[Z10-21440] - Cart Clearance After Password Change

Fixed a bug where cart items were removed after a user changed their password and re-logged in.

[Z10-20553] - Quick View – Missing Category Name

Resolved missing category name in Quick View on the Product Detail Page.

[Z10-17932] - Recently Viewed – Add to Cart Enabled for Call for Pricing

Disabled Add to Cart button in Recently Viewed Products for items with the Call for Pricing discount type.

[Z10-23658] - Quote Placement Failure

Resolved an issue preventing quote placement from both Admin and Webstore interfaces.

[Z10-23248 / Z10LMC-590] - Quote Thank You Page – Incorrect Quote Date

Fixed a display issue showing an incorrect quote date on the confirmation page.

[Z10-23405] - Dynamic Widget – Default State Update

Updated the default state behavior for dynamic widgets in the Page Builder.

[Z10-23200 / Z10LMC-582] -Email Structure Validation

Resolved issues caused by non-standard email structures being rejected by the system.

[Z10-23409 / Z10LMC-624] - Error on Double Click – Address Book Deletion

Fixed an error 

+triggered when users double-clicked the delete button in the address book.

[Z10-23406] - Product Attribute Updates Not Reflected

Resolved a synchronization issue where product attribute updates were not reflected in configurable products.

[Z10-21508] - Saved Cart – Attribute Sync and Move to Cart Issues

Fixed a bug where updated product attributes were not reflected in saved carts or after moving items from a saved cart to cart.
