Managing and Editing Content Blocks

Navigate to: CMS > Content Blocks

Content Blocks are used to manage content sections in the webstore. Content Blocks, for example, can be used for headers that accompany widgets on templates used through the webstore. Administrators can then manage that content from the Admin Console.

Description

Is Global Content Block

Administrators can check this field if they want to create a content block that is available in all the stores.

Select Store

Select the store for which the content block will be used. The default and mandatory value of this field will be All Stores when the “Is Global Content Block” field is checked.

Message Key

The message key is the unique identifier that will be used to display the content block in a template.

Tags

Tags indicate the area of the message like the home page, category page and etc. and are used for organizational purposes. Administrators can add multiple tags.

Locale

Select a locale from the drop-down to enter the content for available languages.

Content Message

Enter the message in the description area that will display in the webstore.

Adding a Content Block

Navigate to: CMS > Content Blocks > "Add New" button

  1. Enter Content Block details

  2. If the administrators want to add the source code they can add it through the Tools section.

  3. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page refreshes with a confirmation message

Store-Specific Content Block

  1. Uncheck Is a Global Content Block field.

  2. Enter Content Block details.

  3. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page refreshes with a confirmation message

Global Content Block

  1. Check Is a Global Content Block field.

  2. Enter Content Block details.

  3. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page refreshes with a confirmation message
