Managing User Groups

Introduction to User Groups

The admin users can create user groups that can be associated with the users to keep them in one user group. These user groups can be associated with Order Types as well as Orders.

The User Groups page shows all of the existing users groups. If no user groups are created, the message "No records found" will appear.


Manage User Groups

Administrators can add new or edit/delete the previously created User Groups.  The add new/edit option will allow them to add/update the following information associated with the User Group:

  • User Group Code (Unique)User Group Name
    • User Group Code is a mandatory field.
  • User Group Name will be used as a label for the User Group.
    • User Group Name will be used as a label for the User Group.

Important Point:

  • Only provisions to add new User Groups or remove the existing User Groups are defined. The option to associate/unassociate users from the User Groups will be implemented in the upcoming release.
  • The User Groups associated with the Orders or the Flags can be deleted and no log will be generated for this activity.
