The Znode 10 payment module supports the installation and configuration of native Znode payment options and of custom developed payment options.

The following payment plugins are natively supported by Znode 10:

  • Charge on Delivery (COD)
  • Purchase Order (PO)
  • Invoice Me
  • Spreedly (Credit Card Processing, ACH, etc.)
  • Custom Developed Payment Plugin

Add a Payment Plugin

Navigate to: System Settings > Plugins > Available Plugins

The first step to adding a payment method is to install a payment plugin.  Find the payment plugin that represents the payment option to be used in Znode and install the plugin.

Browse to the “Available Plugins” and filter by “Plugin Type” to locate the available payment module plugins.  All available plugins will be listed in the grid. To filter the list to Znode native payment methods, use the “Plugin Type” filter value of “PaymentInternal” for COD, PO, and Invoice Me; and use the filter value of “Payment” for external gateway plugins.

If the desired payment plugin is already installed, continue on to adding a configuration set for the installed payment plugin.

Add a Payment Plugin Configuration Set

Navigate to:  System Settings > Plugins > Installed Plugins

Once a payment plugin has been installed to the Znode system, it needs to be configured to process transactions.  Select the payment plugin to be configured by clicking the Plugin Name link or selecting the gear icon under Action.  Each plugin has a “Plugin Information” tab that describes the plugin that is installed.

Configuration Sets

Each plugin has a “Configuration Sets” tab. A configuration set is a collection of settings that define how an application behaves and operates.  Essentially, each configuration is a variation of a plugin’s configurable settings.  Unless otherwise noted, a plugin can have multiple configuration sets that can be applied to different entities in Znode.

For example, if a Customer prefers to offer ACH and Credit Card through Authorize.Net, the Spreedly plugin would be installed and two configuration sets would be created - one specific to ACH with Authorize.Net and the other specific to Credit Card with Authorize.Net.  Then through configuration, one webstore can use the ACH payment method, a second webstore can use the credit card payment method, and yet a third webstore can use both ACH and credit card payment methods.

Each payment plugin configuration set is equivalent to a payment method offered on the webstore or for offline payments.

The data to be configured for each configuration set varies depending on the plugin. However, each of the payment plugins will have the below common configuration set fields.

Payment Plugin Configuration Set General Settings Details

DetailDescription
Configuration CodeAdd a unique code that differentiates configuration sets. Consider incorporating the gateway type.
Display NameAdd a name that will be displayed on the webstore for the payment method.
Display OrderSet the display order of the payment method. The sequence in which the payment methods are displayed on the webstore depends on this order.
Display SettingEnable this option to display the payment method in the checkout flow on the webstore.
