Managing General Global Settings

Introduction

Navigate to: Dev Center > Global Settings > General Tab

The Global Settings section is used to manage the global-level settings of a webstore- including Currencies, Countries, Locales, Cache Management, Publish Settings, and other general settings.

Description

Storage Unit

Media files in the Store are displayed with the units KB or MB.

Date Format

The date format in the Store is displayed by referencing the details added here.

Time Format

The time format in the Store is displayed by referencing the details added here.

Display Time Zone

This allows the administrators to select a timezone from the dropdown in which the administrators would like to display the time-related data in the admin application and the webstore.

(Note - Vouchers, Promotions, Coupons, Pricing Engines, and Schedulers will work as per the server time zone.)

Server Time ZoneThis field is a non-editable field that displays the time zone in which the data is saved on the server.

Price Round Off

Select preference on how many decimals places the administrator’s store should recognize before rounding up/down.

(Example: Selecting "3" would allow three numbers after the decimal--such as $12.123)

Inventory Round Off

Select preference on how many decimals places the administrator’s store should recognize with Inventory before rounding up/down. Used to determine the Product Quantity on-hand and Reorder level but also UOM.

Current Environment

Select the current system environment and the same is displayed on the header of Administrator and Webstore except for the Production environment.
