Introduction
Navigate to: Dev Center > Global Settings > General Tab
The Global Settings section is used to manage the global-level settings of a webstore- including Currencies, Countries, Locales, Cache Management, Publish Settings, and other general settings.
General Settings Details
Detail | Description |
Storage Unit | Media files in the Store are displayed with the units KB or MB. |
Date Format | The date format in the Store is displayed by referencing the details added here. |
Time Format | The time format in the Store is displayed by referencing the details added here. |
| Display Time Zone | It is an editable field from which the admin or equivalent user can select a timezone in which they would like to display the admin and webstore data. |
| Server Time Zone | This is the time zone for the Database server in which the data will be saved in Database. |
Price Round Off | Select preference on how many decimals places the administrator’s store should recognize before rounding up/down. (Example: Selecting "3" would allow three numbers after the decimal--such as $12.123) |
Inventory Round Off | Select preference on how many decimals places the administrator’s store should recognize with Inventory before rounding up/down. Used to determine the Product Quantity on hand and Reorder level but also UOM. |
Current Environment | Select the current system environment and the same is displayed on the header of Administrator and Webstore except for the Production environment. |
