Managing Roles and Access Rights

Navigate to: Dev Center > Roles & Access Rights

The Super Administrator can create Roles for Store level Administrators in the Roles & Access Rights section of Znode. Each Role can be customized with unique Access Rights, which control Store Administrator level access of Znode. Store level Administrators can be granted access to each Znode section based on the following permission settings; Full Access, No Access and Delete Access. Roles can be associated with one or more Stores. Store level Administrators will only have access to manage their associated Stores.

Note: Existing Roles can be edited.

Roles & Access Rights Details

Store level Admins are created by Super Admin using Roles & Access Rights Details:

Detail

Description

Name

Name of Role, Ex. Admin, Manager, Sales Representative and etc.

Is Active box

Use the box to indicate if the Role is Active by default

Menu/Parent Menus Name

Menu and Parent Menu correspond to parts of Znode.

Permission: Full Access

Has full permission to the assigned module/menu item.

Permission: No Access

Module/menu items will not be displayed to the newly created user.

Permission: Delete Access

Can delete data from the assigned module.


Adding Roles & Access Rights

Navigate to: Dev Center > Roles & Access Rights > "Add New"

  1. Add Roles and Access Rights Details

  2. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page reloads with action confirmation.

  3. New Role is now saved.

Editing Roles & Access Rights

Navigate to: Dev Center > Roles & Access Rights > "Edit" action

Steps to Edit Roles & Access Rights:

  1. Edit Roles and Access Rights Details

  2. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page reloads with action confirmation.

  3. The existing Role is now saved.

Deleting Roles & Access Rights

Navigate to: Dev Center > Roles & Access Rights > "Delete" action

Steps to Delete Roles & Access Rights:

  1. Click the “Delete” icon.

  2. Confirm Action. The page reloads with action confirmation.

  3. The existing Role is now deleted.

Managing Commerce Portal Permissions

This feature was introduced in Znode 9.9

In the Commerce Portal permission section, all the permissions will be listed in the following columns with an option to enable and disable:

  • Object
  • Permission Name

Orders can only be assigned to the Users if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Edit My Orders

Users can edit/manage Orders where Order Owner = Logged-in User if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Edit My Team Orders

Users can edit/manage Orders that have at least one User Group in common with the User Groups assigned to Orders and the logged-in User if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.


Note: To allow editing/managing of these Orders, it is mandatory to set the "See My User Groups Order" permission to True.

Edit All Order

Users can edit/manage all the Orders regardless of whether the above two permissions (Edit My Orders and Edit My Team's Orders) are set to True or False if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Create Orders

Users can create Orders if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Cancel Orders

Users can cancel Orders if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Change Prices

Users can edit the pricing of the line items if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

See My User Groups Orders

Users can view Orders in "See My User Groups Order" in Smart View that have at least one User Group in common with the User Groups assigned to Orders and the logged-in User if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

See Next Unassigned Order

Users can view the next unassigned Order in the queue if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

See All Unassigned Orders

Users can view all the unassigned Orders if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Users can view all the Orders regardless of whether the above three permissions (See My User Groups Orders, See Next Assigned Orders and See All Unassigned Orders) are set to True or False if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Assign to Me

Users can assign Orders to themselves if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.


Note: To allow assigning Orders to themselves, it is also required to set the permission "Can be Assigned to Orders" to True.

Assign to My Team

Users can assign Orders to other Users where the logged-in User is designated as a Manager, as well as Users who are members of the same User Group as the logged-in User if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.


Note: Users must have the "Can be Assigned to Orders" permission set to True for the logged-in user to assign orders to them.

Assign to Anyone

Users can assign Orders to all the Users regardless of whether the above two permissions (Assign To Me and Assign To My Team) are set to True or False if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.


Note: Users must have the "Can be Assigned to Orders" permission set to True for the logged-in user to assign orders to them.

Unassign Orders

Users can change the Order Owner to Unassigned if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Change Order Line Status

Users can change the Status of the Line Items if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Set Any Order Status

Users can change the Status of the Line Items as well as the Order Status if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Users can add/edit/remove the CSR Discount if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile.

Share Views with Everyone

Users can share views with everyone if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile

Share Views with User Groups

Users can share views with User Groups (that he is part of) if this permission is set to True for the Role associated with their Profile

Important Point:

  • Admin Users will be able to perform the following actions based on their access levels only if the Order is editable:
    • Assign To Me
    • Assign To My Team
    • Assign To Anyone
    • Unassign Orders
    • Cancel Order
    • Change Order Line Status
    • Set Any Order Status
    • Change Prices
    • Change CSR Discount
