Navigate to: Admin > Shipping > Edit on Custom Shipping Type > Associated Rules tab > "Add New" button
Select a Shipping Rule Type from the drop-down list. Additional details will appear based on the Rule Type selected.
Enter Shipping Rule Type Details and save progress using the "Save" button. The page reloads with action confirmation.
Use the "Add New" button and repeat Steps 1 - 2 based on the requirements of the Administrator.
Shipping Rule(s) are now associated with the Shipping Method.
Shipping Rule Type
Note: A Shipping Rule Type can only be associated once per the Shipping Method.
| Detail | Description |
| Fixed-Rate Per Item | Shipping Cost is the Admin-defined Base Cost + a Fixed Rate per Line Item. |
| Flat Rate Per Item | Shipping Cost is the Admin-defined Base Cost + a per Unit Cost. |
| Quantity Based Rate | Shipping Cost is Base Shipping Cost and Per Unit Cost if Product quantity during Checkout is between Lower Limit and Upper Limit details. |
| Weight Based Rate | Shipping Cost is Base Shipping Cost and Per Unit Cost if Product weight during Checkout is between Lower Limit and Upper Limit details. |
Shipping Rule Type Details
Administrators will need to associate Shipping Rules before a Shipping Method is complete. Shipping Rule Details will appear after the "Shipping Rule Type" is selected.
A Shipping Rule Type can only be associated once per the Shipping Method.
Weight-Based Rate
The following details will appear when the "Weight-Based Rate" is selected.
Set Pricing

Per Unit Cost | Additional cost based on quantity of each Product purchased. |
Limits For Tiered Pricing
Lower Limit | Enter lower weight limit for Weight-Based Rule |
Upper Limit | Enter upper weight limit for Weight-Based Rule |
Quantity-Based Rate
The following details will appear when the "quantity-based Rate" is selected.

Base Cost | Flat cost added to Shipping Cost |
Per Unit Cost | Additional cost based on quantity of each Product purchased. |
Limits For Tiered Pricing
Lower Limit | Enter the lower quantity limit. |
Upper Limit | Enter the upper quantity limit. |
