In Znode 9.6, the Gift Cards feature was deprecated. The new Voucher feature includes all Gift Card functionality.

Navigate to: OMS > Vouchers
Vouchers are prepaid and issued by an Administrator. The application will auto-generate the unique voucher number and email the number to the respective customer associated with the voucher (if any). During checkout, any customer that has a voucher (or vouchers) assigned to their sees the voucher automatically applied but the user can remove the voucher if they don’t wish to use it. Any customer who has an unassigned voucher number can use it at checkout to receive a discount on their purchase.
Adding a Voucher
Navigate to: OMS > Vouchers > “Add New” button
Click the “Add New” button.
Complete Voucher details.
Save progress using the "Save" button. The screen reloads upon action confirmation.
Add Voucher Details
Tabs | Details |
Voucher Number | A unique Voucher number gets auto-generated. |
Voucher Name | Add the name of the voucher. |
Store Name | Select the store from the drop-down. The administrator can create a voucher for the specific store. |
Voucher Amount | Add the voucher amount. |
Start Date | Add a start date from which the voucher will be valid. |
Expiration Date | Add an end date on which the voucher will get expired. |
Is Active | If this is enabled the voucher will be activated. |
Restrict Voucher To A Customer | If this field is enabled then only a selected customer can use this voucher. |
Customer Name | Select the customer to whom the voucher needs to be assigned. Administrators can also create new customers and can assign this voucher to new users. |
Would You Like To Email The Customer? | If this field is enabled the selected customer will get an email about the voucher. |
Deleting a Voucher
Navigate to: OMS > Vouchers > “Delete” button
Click the “Delete” icon
The screen reloads upon action confirmation.
Znode 9.5 and older - Gift Cards
Navigate to: OMS > Gift Cards
Gift Cards are prepaid stored money cards usually issued by a Site Admin. The application will autogenerate the unique gift card number and email the number to the respective customer associated with the gift card (if any). During checkout, any customer who has the gift card number can use it to receive a discount towards their purchase. Gift cards can also be used as part of a special discount.
Adding a Gift Card
Navigate to: OMS > Gift Cards > “Add New” button
Click the “Add New” button.
Complete Gift Card details.
Save progress using the "Save" button. The screen reloads upon action confirmation.

Gift Card Detail | Description |
Card Number | Auto-generated number. Used to reference gift cards during customer checkout. |
Gift Card Name | Internal reference to the gift card. |
Store Name | Select the store from the drop-down. Administrators can create a gift card for a specific store. |
Gift Card Amount | Enter the amount of the gift card |
Expiration Date | Enter the expiration date for the gift card |
Customer Name | Assign the gift card to a selected customer. Administrators can also create new customers and assign gift card to them. |
