Introduction
Navigate to: Dev Center > Payment Methods
Administrators can add and manage different payment options and configure them from this section.
Adding Paypal Express
Navigate to: Dev Center > Payment Methods > Add new
Add Payment Method Details and Merchant Gateway Settings as mentioned in the below table.
Administrators can add additional required details based on the Payment Type.
Save progress using the "Save" button.
The New Payment Method is now added and available.
Payment Method Details
Field | Description |
Select A Payment Type | Select Paypal Express as a Payment Type. |
Payment Code | Add a unique code that differentiates different payment methods. |
Payment Display Name | Add a name that will be displayed on the webstore for the payment method. |
Display Settings | Enable this option to display the payment method in the checkout flow on the webstore. |
Hide Billing Address | Enable this option to hide the billing Address |
Display Order | Set the display order of the payment method. The sequence in which the payment methods are displayed on the webstore depends on this order. |
Merchant Gateway Settings
Field | Description |
Select Gateway Mode | Gateway modes: Test - This can be used for testing purposes. In test mode, all the process remains the same as in live mode. The payment-related data which is entered during check out doesn't need validation. Live - Live mode is used for the production environment. The payment-related data (e.g. Credit card details) provided on live mode needs to be valid. |
Client Id | Administrators can add a Username in this field. |
Client Secret Key | Administrators can add a Password in this field. |
Payment Authorization | If this field is checked then the transactions are preauthorized without capturing. |
Display Capture In OMS | If this field is checked then the capture button will be displayed while managing the order. |
Editing Paypal Express
Navigate to: Dev Center > Payment Methods > Add new
- Click on Edit Payment Method.
- Following are the fields that are noneditable when editing the Paypal Express payment method. The rest of the fields can be edited.
Select a Payment Type
Payment Code
- Save progress using the "Save" action.
- The existing Payment Method is now edited.
Deleting a Payment method
Navigate to: Dev Center > Payment Methods > Delete the Payment Method
- Delete the Payment Method with the “Delete” icon.
- The page reloads with action confirmation.
- The Payment Method is now deleted.
Important Note
Cancelation for payments using Paypal Express is limited to the webstore. Administrators will not be able to cancel the payments using Paypal Express through the Admin application.
