Introduction
Navigate to: CMS > Email & SMS Templates > “Edit” Action
Email Templates are used by Znode to send automated, transactional email messages to customers. (e.g. Account Information, Order Receipt, Account Activation)
- Complete email template details according to the requirements.
- Save progress using the "Save" button.
Email & SMS Template Details
Detail | Description |
Available system Macros | Any given Macro(s), if added in the content field below, will fetch the respective value of that macro(s) on the email template for a particular customer. |
Locale | The default language is automatically selected. |
Template Name | Internal reference name for the email template. |
Description | Specify the description, if required. |
Subject | Enter the email subject. Admin can also use Macros within the subject. |
Content | Enter the email content using the Rich Text Box. Admin can also use Macros within the content. |

Email & SMS Macros
A macro is a special code that gets replaced with the information specific to each recipient. Macros in Znode are connected with different developed features, and therefore they get replaced with specific information in emails.
Note: The working of macros is dependent on the development of different features so only certain macros work with certain email templates.
