Promotions and Coupons is a central location in Znode where Administrators can create promotional discounts based on a product's retail or sale price.
Three types of promotional pricing exist, including:
- Promotion Without Coupon Code - Promotion is automatically applied on the Shopping Cart page to the Order Total.
- Promotion With a Unique Coupon Code - Promotion applied by Customer during checkout. Associated with a large number of unique and non-repetitive Coupon Codes.
- Promotion With Normal Coupon Code - Promotion applied by Customers during checkout. Associated with a single Coupon Code.
In this section, Administrators can create and manage the discounts for all of their Stores. Each promotion can optionally have a coupon. These coupons have a unique code. The customer has to enter the code during the checkout process to apply the discount. Different types of discounts can be offered that are applied to the "discount" line of the Shopping Cart:

Amount Off | Amount off a Brand, Catalog, Category, Order, Product, Shipping, Shipping with Carrier, or X if Y Purchases |
Percent Off | Percent off a Brand, Catalog, Category, Order, Product, Shipping, Shipping with Carrier, or X if Y Purchases |
Amount Off Displayed Product Price | Flat amount off the sale price of Displayed Product Price |
Percent Off Displayed Product Price | Percentage off the sale price of Displayed Product Price |
Call For Pricing | Znode refers Customers to contact Stores for pricing. |
Sample Custom Promotion Class | Not Enabled by default. Znode customers can customize the code according to their requirements. Sample Custom Promotion Class can be enabled in the Commerce Connector as an example for building a custom Promotion. |
Additionally, there are two other types of promotion that are applied to the displayed Product Price inside the catalog:
- A fixed amount of the product price.
- A percent off of the product price.
Note: Shopping Cart promotions are always applied after any Product Price promotions.
- Promotions can be applied cumulatively.
- Promotions with a lower Display Order are applied first.
Add Promotions and Coupons
Navigate to: Marketing > Promotions and Coupons > “Add New” button
Click the “Add New” button.
Enter the required Promotion and Coupon details.
Save changes using the "Save" button.
Edit Promotions and Coupons
Navigate to: Marketing > Promotions and Coupons > “Edit” action
Click the edit action or Promotion Name.
Edit the Promotion and Coupon details.
Save changes using the "Save" button.

| Is Unique | Enables the auto-generated Coupon Codes. This is beneficial when a Promotion with a large number of Coupon Codes (Ex.,100-500 Coupon Codes) needs to be created. | |
| Is Allowed with Other Coupons | By default, applying a second Coupon after the first is disabled. Enabling 'Is Allowed with Other Coupon' causes one Promotion to be used with another Promotion. Ex., Promotion I and Promotion II are the 2 different Promotions. If 'Is Allowed with Other Coupon' is enabled for both promotions, then Promotion I and Promotion II both can be applied to any order in the store. | |
