This feature was introduced in Znode 9.9
Here we can see a sample order in the commerce portal. There are many things here that are controlled by configurations.
Order Classes - are defined in the system by Znode. Order classes allow taking this same full functionality and using it for different order classes. For example, customers can request a quote, and then convert the quote to an order. Quote and Order in this model are order classes. The advantage of this is the business can have different order classes, and the users can convert between them, and all of the classes will have the same full feature set in the commerce portal.
For more information see Manage Order Classes.
Order Types - Whereas Order Classes are more broad and set from the Znode native system, Order Types can be set specifically to the business. For example, there may be two types of orders - regular orders, and custom orders. When configured, each type can set default flags and user groups on an order, as the order type is changed.
For more information see Manage Order Types.
Order Statutes with Improved Order Status Visualization - From the admin console unique order statuses can be configured, each with a specific color so the order management team can quickly recognize the colors and know the status of the order.
For more information see Manage Order Statuses.
Quick Status Change Buttons - can be configured to show here, and they can change based on the current status of the order - giving the most common next order status for this order.
For more information see Manage Order Statuses.
User Groups - See the user groups an order is assigned to. Orders can be assigned to one or more user groups - this allows users in those groups to see the orders. Also here the order can be assigned to a specific person, as the owner of the order.
For more information see Manage User Groups.
Order Flags - are configurable for specific needs. Once set up, teams can add any of the flags to an order, to facilitate the actions that need to be completed on the order. These flags can show what needs to happen, and when completed they can be checked as complete.
For more information see Manage Order Flags.
Order Change Logs - The Commerce portal logs changes as they happen on an order, and teams are able to review who changed what, and when.
Advanced Permission Control - The Commerce portal has an Advanced Permission Control solution. Multiple roles can be defined, and they can be assigned to each of the commerce portal users. Within a role, there are more than 20 unique permissions controlling what users can see and change. This allows different permission models for different team members.
For more information see Managing Roles & Access rights.
