Troubleshooting Shipping Methods

Store-level Shipping Settings

If shipping methods are not appearing on a storefront, check the following for each store:


  1. Ensure that the Shipping Origin or warehouse information is configured correctly in Stores > Manage Store > Shipping Settings.

 

  1. Ensure that valid Shipping Method Account credentials are entered in Stores > Manage Store > Shipping Settings.


  1. Verify that the shipping settings are correctly associated with the store in Stores > Manage Store > Shipping Methods.



  1. Ensure that the desired shipping plugin is configured with the correct account information, access tokens and URLs. Keep in mind that multiple configuration sets can be configured for live or testing/sandbox environments. 
  2. Check the sandbox mode (Live or Testing). In live mode, real shipping methods will be displayed. Whereas sandbox mode often uses simulated shipping methods for testing purposes.
  •  Ensure that we are using live mode credentials while making shipping methods for live purposes 
  • Ensure that we are using testing mode credentials while we are using them for testing purposes




Profile-based Shipping Method

Display shipping methods on the basis of the profile:

  1. Ensure that the Store-level configurations from the previous section are working as expected.
  2. Verify that the shipping settings are correctly associated with the store in Stores > Manage Store > Shipping Methods.
  3. If we want to show only limited shipping methods for particular profiles then those need to be assigned to the profile. Verify that the shipping methods are correctly associated with the profile in Accounts & Users > User Profiles > Manage User Profile.
