Managing Shipping Processing Plugins

TABLE OF CONTENTS

The following shipping plugins are natively supported by Znode 10:

  • Fedex
  • UPS
  • Custom Developed Shipping Plugin

Add a Shipping Plugin

Navigate to: System Settings > Plugins > Available Plugins

The first step to adding an external shipping provider in Znode is to install the corresponding shipping plugin. Locate the shipping provider plugin that represents the shipping option you plan to use and install it.

Browse to the Available Plugins tab and use the Plugin Type filter to locate shipping plugins. To view only Znode‑native shipping plugins, filter by Plugin Type = Shipping.

If the desired shipping plugin is already installed, proceed to adding a configuration for the installed plugin.

Add a Shipping Plugin Configuration

Navigate to:  System Settings > Plugins > Installed Plugins

Once a shipping plugin has been installed, it must be configured before it can process transactions. Select the shipping plugin to configure by clicking the Plugin Name link or selecting the gear icon under the Action column.

Each plugin includes the following tabs:

  • Plugin Information: Describes the installed plugin
  • Global Configuration: Contains shipping provider–level settings that apply to all configuration sets
  • Configuration Sets: Contains shipping account–specific configuration details

Global Configuration

The Global Configuration tab contains settings that apply at the plugin level and affect all configuration sets. The available settings vary depending on the shipping plugin.

Configuration Sets

Each plugin also includes a Configuration Sets tab. A configuration set is a collection of settings that defines how the plugin behaves. Each configuration set represents a variation of the plugin’s configurable values and can be assigned to different entities within Znode.

For example, multiple configuration sets can be created for the FedEx plugin and assigned to different webstores.

While configuration values vary by plugin, all shipping plugins include the following common configuration set fields.
