Managing 301 Redirects

Introduction

Navigate to: Marketing > SEO Setup > 301 URL Redirects

Once a search engine indexes a site and time are spent optimizing for organic search, it’s generally advised to try to keep any earned search rankings, even if your page URL changes. 301 redirects tell search engines, "this page has been permanently moved to a new URL".

With the help of 301 redirects, Administrators can type in a new friendly URL and automatically redirect Customers or search engines to the new URL, even if the old URL is used.

Description

URL Redirect From

The administrator enters an SEO-friendly page name to which the page needs to be redirected.

URL Redirect To

Enter an SEO-friendly page name to which the page needs to be redirected.

Enable this Redirection

This needs to be enabled if the user wants to enable the redirection.

Add 301 URL Redirects

Navigate to: Marketing > SEO Setup > 301 URL Redirects-level > "Add New" button

  1. Add 301 URL Redirects details
  2. Save progress using the "Save" button

Edit 301 URL Redirects

Navigate to: Marketing > SEO Setup > 301 URL Redirects Level > "Edit" button

  1. Edit 301 URL Redirects details
  2. Save progress using the "Save" button

Delete 301 URL Redirects

Navigate to: Marketing > SEO Setup > 301 URL Redirects Level > "Delete" button

  1. The page reloads with action confirmation.

  2. 301 URL is now deleted.
