This feature was introduced in Znode 9.9

Navigate to: Commerce Portal Page > Create Order

To create an Order, the logged-in user will have to click on the “Create Order’ button which will open a Create Order page where the logged-in user needs to add the following details to create an Order:

• Store
  • Users can select the store from the store dropdown list or search for specific stores using the store search feature.
  • Selecting a Store is a mandatory field as an Order will be created against the selected Store. 
• Order Type
  • The user will have to select the Order Type from the Order Type dropdown list or search for a specific Order Type using the search feature.
  • It is a mandatory field for creating an Order.
  • Order will be created with the selected Order Type.
    • Based on the Order Type, default Flags and User Groups will be associated with the Order (as explained in Order Types) 
• Account
  • The user can select the Account from the Account dropdown list or can search for specific Accounts using the Account search feature (if there is more than one Account associated with the Store selected above).
  • Selecting an Account for creating an Order is an optional field.
• Customer
  • The logged-in user must enter at least the first three letters of the customer's username to get a list of customers who match the input while utilizing the customer search feature.
  • List of users will be based on the Store and Account (if selected).

    Selecting a Customer is a mandatory field as an Order will be created for that Customer.
    
    

    After adding the mandatory fields, the logged-in user will have 3 action buttons to select from:

• Save & Edit Button

  • When the logged-in user uses this button to create an Order, the logged-in user will be redirected to the Edit Order Screen.

• Save & Continue Button
  • When the logged-in user uses this button to create an Order, the logged-in user will be redirected to the previous page (but the Order will be created).
• Cancel Button
  • Logged-in Users can click on the Cancel button to close the Create Order screen without creating an Order.

Important Point:

• Users with permission “Create Order” set to true can only Create Orders in Commerce Portal.
