Configuring a Store's Product Listing Options

Introduction

Navigate to: Stores and Reps > Manage > Product Listing Options

Administrators can manage the “Sort By” list and “Products Per Page” lists independently for every store from this tab.

Sort List

There are predefined sort list options available in this section. Administrators can select any of the required options from this list. The selected option(s) are displayed on the webstore. Administrators can associate/de-associate the sort by options anytime they want from this section.

Available Sort List options

Sort list Option
Description
Highest Rating
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, products are displayed on the product listing page in order from highest to lowest ratings
Most Review
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products with the highest number of reviews to the lowest number of reviews are displayed on the product listing page
Price, High to Low
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products with the higher pricing to the lower pricing are displayed on the product listing page
Price, Low to High
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products with the lower pricing to the higher pricing are displayed on the product listing page
Sort by: Name, A to Z
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products are displayed on the product listing page according to alphabetical order A to Z
Sort by: Name, Z to A
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products are displayed on the product listing page according to the alphabetical order Z to A
Out Of Stock
When a customer selects this option on the website, the products that are out of stock are displayed at the top of the product listing page
In Stock
When a customer selects this option on the webstore, the products that are in stock are displayed at the top of the product listing page

Sort By Configuration

To set up the “sort by” configuration on a PLP / Category page, please follow the instructions below

Navigate to: Stores and Reps > Manage > Product Listing Options > Sort by

  • Make sure "Sort By" is added and displayed as the first option
    • If not present add this by clicking the "Associate Sort List” CTA and adding it to the list
  • On the PLP / Category page, the Sort By will do the following
    • It first uses the category Sort Order
    • For items that have the same display order,  it will continue to sort by product name, alphabetically within the same number.

Further Configuring the Sort Options

The “Sort By” selection is controlled based on the Category, to further refine the sort order, you can do the following steps by modifying the display order of products.

  • To further set the display on a particular category / PLP page, you can control the display options
  • Admin > Category> Associated Products > Edit Display Order
  • This will control the display for a particular category, in the PLP webstore view, this is functional when sorted by is selected.

Page List

There are predefined Products Per Page list options available in this section. Administrators can select any required options from this list. The selected option(s) are displayed on the webstore. Administrators can associate/de-associate the Products Per Page list options anytime they want from this section.

Show 8
When customers select this option see only 8 products per page on the product listing page.
Show 12
When customers select this option see only 12 products per page on the product listing page.
Show 16
When customers select this option see only 16 products per page on the product listing page.
Show 32
When customers select this option see only 32 products per page on the product listing page.
Show 64
When customers select this option see only 64 products per page on the product listing page.

Default Products Per Page Option

Administrators can set any predefined Products Per Page option from this section as the default option so that by default a certain number of products can be displayed on every product listing page.
