Category Names On Search Results Page

When a keyword is searched and there is at least one product result available then: 

  1. The search results page displays the list of all those hyperlinked categories names whose products (that are directly associated) are available on the search results page above the facets section in an accordion. 
  2. The sequence in which the categories will be displayed should depend on the display order of categories in the Store’s catalog.
  3. If a user clicks on any Category Name then they are redirected to the respective Category page.


  1. When the value of Enable Inheritance of Child Category products to Parent Category is checked. (This setting will be introduced in the upcoming version of Znode)

    1. When a keyword is searched and there is at least one product result available then the search results page displays:

      1. The list of all those hyperlinked categories names whose products are available and also 

      2. The hyperlinked parent categories names on the search results page above the facets section in an accordion.
        (Note- All the displayed categories should belong to the catalog that is being used on the web store).

Note - 

  1. The sequence in which the categories will be displayed should depend on the display order of categories in the Store’s catalog. 

  2. If a user clicks on any Category Name then he/she should be redirected to the respective Category page.
