Introduction
The search feature allows customers to search products and CMS pages on the web store. This article provides more information about the Search Typeahead (also known as Search Auto Suggestion)
The Search Typeahead uses the same search profile that is used for displaying search results on the webstore.
Top Searches
The search section displays all the relevant product suggestions with the product image and hyperlinked category name. Whenever a user searches any term then if any product suggestions are available they are displayed in this section of the Typeahead. If customers click on the product name of the suggestion then they are redirected to the search result page and if they click on the category name of the suggestion then they are redirected to the category page.
The Search Typeahead uses the same search profile that is used for displaying search results on the webstore and does not provide CMS page suggestions.
