Product Detail Page
The Product Detail Page is displayed when a user clicks on a product in a product list page, a category landing page, search results, and other product lists on the site. This page shows all the details about a product and allows a user to configure it and add it to their cart.
The following product information can be seen on this page:
- Main Product Image
- Product Image Gallery - with alternate images
- Product Name
- Product SKU
- Product Short Description (optional) - if you defined a short description
- Product Obsolete Message (optional) - only for products marked obsolete
- Highlight Icons (optional) - if you associated product highlights
- Review Stars - Summary of Product Reviews, and Read Reviews link
- Personalized Product entry fields (optional) - if you defined personalized fields
- Configurable Products Selection (optional) - for configured products
- Ad-On Options (optional) - allows you to select related products to purchase with this one - if you defined add-on products
- Product Details
- Product Specifications (optional) - if you define product specifications
- Shipping Information (optional) - if you defined Shipping Information
- Product Review
- Additional Information (optional) - from custom fields defined on the product
- Recommended Products (optional) - if you enable product recommendations in-store experience and generate recommendations
- Replacement Product Suggestions (optional) - for products marked obsolete that have replacement product suggestions defined
- Frequently Bought (optional) - manually curated list of products
- You May Also Like (optional) - a manually curated list of products
- Recently Viewed Products - based on what you have recently browsed
- Advertisement Banners - defined in Store Experience
The following features are available on this page:
- Choose an image to view.
- Zoom an image by hovering over it.
- Add/remove the product from your wishlist, using the heart icon.
- Choose configurable options (e.g. Color and Size).
- Add a quantity of the product to your Cart.
- Print the Product.
- See other products in the same category this product belongs to.
- Email this product to a friend.
- Write a product review.
- Browse to another product in one of the many sections.
