Introduction

This article covers configuring an SMTP service with SendGrid. This article assumes SendGrid is the SMTP service you have chosen through your business requirements and use case.

Please refer to the following SendGrid documentation to assist in configuring Znode SMTP with SendGrid credentials.

Important Note - There are plenty of other SMTP services to choose from outside of SendGrid such as Gmail.
The following article is only intended if Sendgrid is chosen as 3rd party service.

You will need to follow the below steps to register to SendGrid.

1. Open the URL: https://sendgrid.com/ You may click on a try for free to register and enter the company details to create the account
2. On sendgrid -> Under API Settings, click on create new API Key from Sendgrid.
   
3. Enter the API name of your choice and click Create and View as shown below:
   
4. Copy the API key created from Sendgrid.
