Administrators can now create and manage custom promotion types from Dev Center, providing greater flexibility in defining promotional structures without relying solely on predefined system promotion types.

This enhancement introduces configurable promotion-specific attributes and groups, allowing businesses to tailor promotion configurations to their unique requirements while maintaining compatibility with existing promotion functionality.

Introduced new configuration options that provide administrators with greater control over how discounts are calculated across shipping, promotions, and coupons.

Administrators can now independently determine whether shipping discounts should apply to handling charges and whether additional product pricing should be included in promotion, coupon, and voucher discount calculations. This enhancement helps merchants align discount behavior with their pricing and promotional strategies while preserving existing qualification, taxation, and order-processing rules.

• Added a new Allow Shipping Discounts On Handling Charges setting under Global Settings → Promotion and Coupon Settings.
