10.14.0.8 Release Notes | Nov 02, 2026

Release Information

Upgrade Note

Before upgrading, review the release notes for every version between the current version and the target version to ensure no critical upgrade information is missed. Important upgrade information, including breaking changes, prerequisites, configuration updates, database changes, and deprecated features, is documented in the release in which it is introduced and may not be repeated in later release notes.

Version Note

To ensure the new feature functions as intended, using the latest version of the Storefront is recommended. Older versions may support the feature partially or could lead to limited functionality or operational inconsistencies.

Release Highlights

New Features & Enhancements

  • Stronger platform security: Customer sessions are now protected against tampering and privilege escalation, and the platform runtime includes the latest security fixes.
  • End-to-end returns and refunds: Customers and administrators can manage returns from start to finish, with accurate refunds that account for Promotions.
  • Focused Sales Rep workspace: Sales Reps now see only the accounts and customer users assigned to them, so they can focus on their own work.
  • More flexible Promotions: Merchandisers can now run BOGO and X-if-Y Promotions that include add-on Products.
  • More efficient catalog publishing: CPU usage no longer stays high after a publish is stopped, and publish history no longer takes up extra disk space.

Other Improvements

  • Accurate Orders and returns: Order totals, discounts, Coupons, shipping amounts and line item statuses now stay correct when returns are approved, rejected or partially processed and when Orders are edited in Admin. Customers also see only Orders that can still be returned.
  • More reliable sign-in, quoting and checkout: A lockout on one store no longer blocks users from their other stores. Account user Quotes now save and convert to Orders reliably. Custom shipping options stay linked to the correct Shipping Method, and valid Coupons apply consistently without a manual sync.
  • Dependable catalog publishing and data imports: Store + Catalog publishes reliably include the associated catalog, and Categories stay visible during large publishes. Import template mappings stay intact, empty imports no longer block publishing, and large product data exchanges complete without timeouts.
  • Hidden Categories stay hidden everywhere: Once a Category is published as hidden, it is removed from Storefront navigation and Category Widgets for all users, including guests. Its Products also no longer appear in Product Carousels, brand listings or search.

What's New

Enhanced Returns and Refunds Management

Introduced returns and refunds management. Administrators control which Orders can be returned using a new Allow Return flag on Order Status and Order Line Status configuration, which works like the existing Allow Editing option. A return can be created only when both the order status and the line item status allow returns and the existing RMA eligibility rules are met. If a line item status does not allow returns, that item is left out while other eligible items stay available. Full and partial returns and refunds are supported for guest, registered and impersonation Orders. Administrators review each return line by line and can approve or reject individual line items, and returns created by a CSR in Admin are approved automatically. Each approved return is refunded in a single transaction to the original credit card through CyberSource, and the refund never exceeds the amount captured on the card. To use the feature, enable Allow Return on the relevant order statuses and order line statuses, check that your RMA eligibility rules are set up as needed, and configure CyberSource, Vertex and the supported shipping carriers.

Key Features

  • Added support for returning simple products, configurable products, bundle products, grouped products and their supported add-ons. Bundles are returned as a whole, grouped products per child product, and add-ons together with their parent Product.
  • Added quantity-level approval and rejection: only the approved quantity is refunded, and rejected units become available for return again.
  • Refunds can include product value, product tax, allocated line-item shipping, allocated shipping tax and additional costs that are part of order calculations. Handling charges and handling taxes are not refunded.
  • Added support for refunding product tax and shipping tax through the Vertex integration.
  • Shipping refunds are calculated per line item for UPS, USPS and Custom Shipping, not from total order weight or order-level shipping.
  • Refunds are based on the amount the Customer actually paid. Promotional discounts are applied first, and order-level and custom Promotion discounts are shared proportionally across returned items.
  • Free items from Buy X Get Y or free product Promotions are refunded at $0. Shipping discounts only affect the shipping refund, so fully discounted shipping is not refunded.
  • The original Order stays unchanged on Manage Order. A new Returns section shows return requests, approved, rejected and refunded returns, their statuses and refund amounts, and Power BI reports cover returns, refund analysis, product return trends and operational metrics.

Add-On Product Support in BOGO and X-if-Y Promotions

Amount Off and Percent Off BOGO and X-if-Y Promotions now support add-on Products as Buy, Get, Common, required or discounted items. Previously, X-if-Y Promotions evaluated only cart lines and did not apply when an add-on was the required or discounted Product, and a product Promotion targeting an add-on could cause a cart error. Add-on discounts follow the same rules as cart-line Products, including minimum quantity, product quantity, Promotion usage limits, and Coupon and non-Coupon eligibility. Add-on-only discounts now appear in the cart line's discount list instead of showing as zero. Add-on discounts are capped so they cannot exceed the remaining add-on price, and cart totals, order totals and saved order discounts are not affected by the display change.

Key Features

  • Added support for add-on Products as Buy, Get or Common items in Amount Off and Percent Off BOGO Promotions, by Product, Category or brand.
  • An add-on can meet the required Product condition of an X-if-Y Promotion, with the discount applied to the qualifying parent cart line.
  • The total add-on quantity across all cart lines counts toward the minimum quantity when the add-on is the required Product.
  • An add-on can be discounted in an X-if-Y Promotion when the required Product is in the cart, without changing the parent Product price.
  • Add-on discounts are merged into the parent cart line's discount list by discount code, and Coupon applied amounts are calculated from them.
  • Add-on discounts are calculated on the chargeable add-on quantity and capped at the remaining add-on price, which prevents over-discounting.
  • Fixed an error in the cart details when a product Promotion targeted an add-on.

Drag-and-Drop Reordering of Product Gallery Images

Users can now reorder gallery images by dragging and dropping them in the Images section of the Product Manage screen. Administrators and catalog managers use this feature from the Images section of the Product Manage screen. The new order appears as soon as an image is dropped, without clicking Save first, and is kept after the product is saved. Reordering works with internal media, external media and full image URLs. Previously, users could not easily reorder images once they were uploaded; now they can place an image first to make it the main image in the gallery display order.

Key Features

  • Added the ability to reorder gallery images by drag and drop in the Images section of the Product Manage screen.
  • The new image order updates as soon as an image is dropped, without clicking Save first.
  • The image order is kept after the product is saved.
  • Added support for reordering internal media, external media and full image URLs.
  • Users can place an image first to make it the main image in the gallery display order.

Service Principal Authentication for Power BI Reports

Power BI reports under BI Reports in Admin now load even when the configured account has multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled. Previously, sign-in with a username and password did not support MFA-enabled accounts, so the reports failed to load and administrators saw only a generic Power BI settings error. Power BI configuration in Admin now uses Service Principal authentication with a new Client Secret field. The Username and Password fields have been removed from the Power BI configuration screen.

Key Features

  • Added Service Principal-based authentication for Power BI.
  • Added a Client Secret field to the Power BI configuration screen in Admin.
  • Removed the Username and Password fields from the Power BI configuration.
  • Power BI reports load whether or not MFA is enabled on the configured account.

Assigned-Only Accounts and Users for Sales Reps

Sales Reps can now focus on only their assigned accounts and customer users in Accounts & Users. Previously, the Accounts list showed all accounts to Sales Reps regardless of assignment, and there was no standard configuration or Role setting to filter the list by the signed-in Sales Rep. Sales Reps now see only the customer users assigned to them under Accounts & Users > Users and only their assigned accounts under Accounts & Users > Accounts, with assignment working at the customer user level. The change covers viewing and managing the Users and Accounts lists only; dashboard behavior is unchanged. This makes account and customer management easier for Sales Reps, reduces confusion when many accounts are available, and gives them a more focused workflow for viewing and impersonating their assigned customers.

Key Features

  • Sales Reps see only the customer users assigned to them under Accounts & Users > Users.
  • Sales Reps see only their assigned accounts under Accounts & Users > Accounts.
  • Sales Rep assignment works at the customer user level.
  • Sales Reps keep a focused workflow for viewing and impersonating their assigned customers.
  • Dashboard behavior is unchanged; the change applies only to the Users and Accounts lists.

Security Enhancements

Strengthened Session Protection

  • Strengthened access controls by preventing the Storefront from overwriting protected session details such as user identity, Role and session identifier, which could otherwise lead to privilege escalation, acting as another User, or session tampering.
  • Session updates from the Storefront can now change only first name, last name, email, phone number, email opt-in and SMS opt-in.
  • Improved authentication by identifying the User by username only, not email, for account switching and wishlists; access is denied when the username is missing.
  • Login, logout, single sign-on, impersonation and session refresh continue to work as before.

.NET 8 Runtime Security Update

  • Updated security mechanisms by moving the .NET 8 runtime to a newer patch version that includes security fixes.
  • The update fixes known vulnerabilities, including a buffer overflow in Brotli decompression, a memory corruption issue in network socket handling, and unsafe file ownership in Linux distributions.
  • The Webstore and Admin were checked after the update and both work as expected.

Performance Enhancements

Optimized Resource Usage for Catalog Publishing

Optimized catalog publishing so that background jobs are cleared when a catalog publish is terminated. Previously, these jobs remained after the publish was stopped. After a catalog publish is terminated, the background process no longer keeps using CPU. After a successful catalog publish, CPU usage returns to normal. Note: If a catalog publish is terminated after its database activity is complete but before the progress bar disappears, the progress bar may stay visible even though there is no record left to terminate. Starting a catalog publish may also slow the application for about 30–40 seconds, until the confirmation pop-up appears.

Key Benefits

  • Background jobs are cleared when a catalog publish is terminated.
  • CPU usage no longer stays high after a catalog publish is terminated, and it returns to normal after a successful publish.
  • Publish history no longer takes up extra disk space after a successful catalog publish.

Important Points

There are no updates in this section for this release.

Black Box Improvements

Stores

Z10-40678 / Z10LMC-4190 | Store Additional Attributes page did not save and showed no message

Resolved an issue where clicking Save or Save & Close on the Store Additional Attributes page in Admin did nothing, and no message was shown. This happened when a Store CSP value that was entered before CSP validation was added failed validation on save. The error blocked the whole page, including unrelated fields, and appeared only on a hidden Security tab. When saving, Admin now shows an error popup and highlights the tab with the invalid CSP value. If several tabs contain invalid values, each of them is highlighted. The same tab highlighting applies to Account Additional Attributes. A tab's highlight clears once its fields are corrected and saved again. Correct the invalid CSP value to save the page, and make sure CSP headers are configured as described in the CSP configuration documentation.

Accounts & Users

Z10-38073 / Z10-41148 / Z10LMC-4244 | Locking a user account in one store blocked login to other stores

Resolved an issue where, with centralized login enabled, a user account locked after the maximum failed login attempts on one store was also blocked from logging in to the other stores the user was associated with. The account is now locked only for the store where the failed login attempts occurred, and the user can still log in to the other stores they can access. Forgot Password on the Storefront now lets users reset their password on stores where they are not locked. Also resolved an issue where users locked out before version 10.13.1.0 appeared as active in Admin even though they could not log in. Admin now shows a user as disabled only when the user is actually locked for that store, so the lockout status matches between Admin and the Storefront. A data correction script unlocks the affected users who were locked out before that version, except administrators, and can be rolled back. The fix was verified for Sales Rep, registered user and Admin user flows.

Z10-41221 / Z10LMC-4250 | Account address type changes from Residential to Commercial were not saved

Resolved an issue where changing an account address type from Residential to Commercial in Admin did not persist for account-linked users with the Administrator role, and the address still showed Residential when reopened. This affected users created through Webstore registration flows that assign the Administrator role by default. The updated Address Type now saves and persists when the address is reopened, ensuring shipping prices reflect the correct Residential or Commercial address type.

OMS

Z10-27723 | Order History displayed an incorrect order total after returns were approved

Resolved an issue where the order total in Storefront Order History was displayed incorrectly after partial or complete returns were approved, and did not match the amount that had not been returned. The issue occurred when Return Request was enabled on the store, sales tax was associated to the store and Include Shipping in Taxes was set to No. Order History now shows the correct non-returned order amount after returns are approved, such as the handling charge when all items are returned. The correction applies to both partial and complete returns, whether the Require Completeness setting is enabled or disabled, so Customers see an accurate order total for their returned orders.

Z10-30965 | Manage Order did not show the shipping amount and reset the shipping method after a return was approved

Resolved an issue where, after a return was approved for an order placed with a third-party carrier such as FedEx or UPS, Manage Order did not show the shipping amount in the remaining amount summary. The Shipping Method was also reset to Custom Flat Rate instead of the method selected at order placement. For full returns, the original Shipping Method is now retained and the remaining amount correctly shows non-refundable shipping and handling charges. For orders returned in parts, the Shipping Method is retained, but the remaining amount for non-refundable charges may still display incorrectly until line-item-level shipping calculation for third-party carriers is available.

Z10-38374 | Returns for orders with third-party shipping providers did not include shipping charges

Resolved an issue where returns for orders placed with third-party shipping providers, such as USPS, UPS and FedEx, did not include the original shipping charges. Return totals showed $0 shipping, the Shipping and Return Shipping values were missing on the Webstore and Admin return pages, and the Return Shipping checkbox was disabled for administrators. Shipping charges from the original order are now available when a return is created and are included in the return total, which matches how returns for custom shipping orders already worked. Shipping and Return Shipping values now show on both the Webstore and Admin return pages and remain after the return is submitted.

Z10-38516 | Rejected return subtotal repopulated with a non-zero value after saving

Resolved an issue in Admin under OMS > Returns where, after all return line items and the return were rejected, the subtotal showed 0 but changed back to a non-zero value after the return was saved. The return subtotal now stays at 0 when all items and the return are rejected.

Z10-38536 | Return page showed an incorrect discount for orders with a percent-off-order coupon

Resolved an issue where the discount amount on the Return page was calculated incorrectly for orders placed with a percent-off-order Coupon, even though the discount was correct at checkout. For example, a 10% Coupon showed a discount of -$1.00 instead of -$10.00 on the Return page. The discount shown when a return is created now matches the discount applied to the original order at checkout.

Z10-40099 | Admin Pending Order screen showed an incorrect Discount (On Subtotal) when order and shipping Promotions both applied

Resolved an issue where the Admin Pending Order screen showed an incorrect Discount (On Subtotal) when both Amount Off Order and Amount Off Shipping Promotions applied, because the shipping discount was included in the order discount. For example, an order with a $10 Amount Off Order and a $2 Amount Off Shipping Promotion showed -$12 instead of -$10. The difference between the Storefront and Admin could lead to miscalculations during approval review and discrepancies in financial tracking of pending orders. The Pending Order screen now shows the same discount as the Order Details screen, keeping the two screens consistent. The fix applies only to the Admin Pending Order screen; Storefront behavior and Promotion calculations are unchanged.

Z10-40325 | Discounts and vouchers disappeared and order totals became incorrect after shipping changes in Manage Order

Resolved an issue where changing the shipping address or Shipping Method in Manage Order removed the discount or applied voucher and made order calculations incorrect. This affected Orders with shipping Promotions, Coupons and vouchers, including guest checkout Orders. The voucher amount is now recalculated against the new order total and capped at the amount due, so Amount Paid no longer shows a negative value. Existing Coupons and Promotions on an Order are kept on recalculation even after they expire, and stacked Coupons are reapplied in their original checkout order. Saving an Order no longer resets the Shipping, Handling, Shipping Discount and Import Duty amounts. New shipping amounts are also saved correctly on Orders paid in full by a voucher. Administrators signed in to a different store no longer see an invalid voucher message, and a Coupon code is no longer shown as applied when the discount came from a Promotion. Changing the order status no longer changes discount and tax values on Orders with stacked Coupons. Shipping, handling, discount, voucher and Amount Paid values in Manage Order now match the Webstore.

Z10-41070 | Line item status did not change to Returned after a partial return was approved

Resolved an issue where approving a return for only some line items on an Order did not change the returned line item's status to Returned. Previously, line items were marked Returned only after the entire order quantity had been returned. This happened for returns created from both the Webstore and Admin. The returned line item now changes to Returned while the other line items stay unchanged.

Z10-41203 | Final order total was incorrect after multiple partial returns were refunded

Resolved an issue where the final order total was incorrect after two partial returns on the same Order were both refunded. The problem occurred when return shipping was applied to one return but not the other. Shipping & Handling charges and return amounts are now calculated correctly, and the final order total matches between Admin and the Webstore.

Z10-41353 / Z10LMC-4262 | Admin could not save or convert account user quotes with Enable Profile Based Catalog enabled

Resolved an issue where Admin could not save or convert a Quote created by an account user when Enable Profile Based Catalog was enabled and a saved account address was chosen as the shipping address. The error "The provided address reference is invalid for the specified user" was shown, and the Quote could not be converted to an Order. These Quotes now save and convert to Orders successfully. Changing the Enable Profile Based Catalog setting after a Quote is placed also no longer results in a blank page. In one scenario, saving a Quote can still fail after the setting is changed, because the Quote was created under a different configuration. This is being tracked separately.

Z10-41120 | Webstore Return Receipt showed a reduced Total Expected Qty after a return line was rejected

Resolved an issue where the Webstore Return Receipt showed a lower Total Expected Qty after a return line was rejected, while Admin showed the requested total. Total Expected Qty now stays at the quantity the Customer requested. Admin Manage Return and the Webstore Return Receipt now both show Total Expected Qty and Total Return Quantity, which is the confirmed (approved) quantity. Return quantities and the Return Total now match between Admin and the Webstore.

Z10-41057 | Manage Return showed the username as Customer Name when the profile name was blank

Resolved an issue where the Manage Return screen in Admin showed the username instead of a name in the Customer Name field when the User's profile first and last name were blank. Because Manage Order showed the shipping address name, the two screens displayed different names for the same Customer. Manage Return now shows the shipping address first and last name entered at checkout, for both guest and registered Users.

Z10-41119 | Return History timestamps were shown in UTC instead of local time

Resolved an issue where Return History timestamps on the Manage Return screen in Admin were shown in UTC while Return Date was shown in local time. Because of this, Return History entries appeared several hours earlier than the Return Date for the same action. Return History dates and times now use the same timezone as Return Date and the rest of Admin.

PIM

Z10-38398 / Z10LMC-3850 | Categories temporarily disappeared from Storefront navigation during large full catalog publishes

Resolved an issue where Categories temporarily disappeared from Storefront navigation while a large full catalog publish was running, until the publish completed. This made Category navigation unavailable or inconsistent and affected browsing and product discovery for Customers. Category navigation now stays available during large full catalog publishes. This fix covers only the Category visibility issue; Storefront performance during publishing is handled separately.

Z10-39948 | Store + Catalog publish intermittently did not publish the associated draft catalog

Resolved an issue where starting a Store + Catalog publish in Admin sometimes published the store but not the associated draft catalog. The catalog stayed in Draft status, did not appear in the progress bar or catalog history, and its Products disappeared from the Webstore. The associated catalog now publishes successfully with Store + Catalog publish for both small and large catalogs, keeping Products available on the Webstore.

Z10-40580 / Z10LMC-4171 | Configurable-products API returned an arbitrary variant when several Products matched the selected attributes

Resolved an issue where the configurable-products API returned an arbitrary variant when several published simple Products matched the selected attributes, and the result could change from one call to the next. This happened when the Products shared the same configurable attribute values but differed in another attribute, so the Storefront could receive a variant with an attribute value the Customer had not selected. When several variants match, the API now returns the one with the lowest Display Order, and the alphabetically first one when Display Orders are equal. The same variant is returned consistently on repeated calls, after a cache clear and after republishing. There is no breaking change: routes, request and response models and error codes are unchanged.

Z10-41058 | Hidden-category products appeared in brand listings and search results

Resolved an issue where products in categories set to Hide Category = Yes were still discoverable through the brand link on the product detail page, bypassing the Hide Category setting. Clicking the brand link showed a brand listing that included hidden-category products, and products whose only categories are hidden were also returned in search results. Brand listings now show only products from visible categories, so products meant to be hidden stay undiscoverable through brand-based browsing.

Z10-41123 | Products whose categories were all hidden still appeared in the Product Carousel

Resolved an issue where products in a Product Carousel kept appearing after all their associated categories were set to Hide Category = Yes, even after publishing the categories and republishing related catalog or content. As a result, Customers could discover products meant to be hidden from Storefront navigation. Product Carousel results now respect category visibility: once all of a product's categories are hidden and published, the product is removed from the carousel automatically.

Z10-41146 | Hidden child categories still appeared in the Storefront Departments navigation

Resolved an issue where child categories set to Hide Category = Yes still appeared in the Storefront Departments navigation, and selecting one opened a product listing page showing No Records Found. Guest users saw a cached category menu that did not refresh when a category was published, so a hidden category kept showing until the cache expired or the whole catalog was published. Categories set to Hide Category = Yes are now hidden from the Storefront navigation. This was verified for both guest and logged-in users.

CMS

Z10-41122 | Hidden categories still appeared in the Category Content Block until the CMS page was republished

Resolved an issue where a category set to Hide Category = Yes still appeared in a Category Content Block after the category was published, and disappeared only after the CMS page was republished. Hidden categories are now removed from the Category Content Block once the category is published, and un-hiding and publishing a category brings it back, without republishing the CMS page. This keeps category visibility rules consistently enforced on Storefront CMS pages. The category carousel now loads in the browser, so its links are no longer included in the server-rendered page, and a placeholder sized to the widget's card settings is shown while it loads to limit layout shift.

Z10-41170 / Z10LMC-4246 | Product Details page in Store Experience Visualize appeared blank for some stores

Resolved an issue where opening the Product Details page from Store Experience Visualize in Admin showed a completely blank page, with no Page Builder and no product preview, for stores whose catalogs contained only configurable products. Because of this, administrators could not edit or publish the Product Details page for those stores. The Page Builder now opens with a sample Product from the store catalog. Simple Products are used first, and configurable Products are used when no simple Product is available. The preview uses only Products published in the store catalog. If a new Product was added but not republished, the preview keeps showing the already published Product. If no published Product is available, Visualize shows a notice asking the administrator to add and publish a Product and then reopen the page, instead of showing a blank page.

Marketing

Z10-41091 / Z10LMC-4234 | Full-text search without a keyword or category returned products in an unsorted order

Resolved an issue where full-text search requests with no keyword and no category applied no default sort, returning products in an arbitrary order, and republished products moved to the end of the list. These requests now sort products by their lowest category Display Order, as set per product in a category under PIM > Catalogs, with a default of 999. Products with the same Display Order are listed in a consistent order that stays stable across repeated calls. Keyword searches still sort by relevance, category requests keep their existing Display Order sorting, and explicit sorts continue to work. Sorting by custom product attributes is not supported and is ignored; the full-text search API is not integrated with the Storefront.

Z10-41093 / Z10LMC-4235 | Full-text search returned the same colour order for every product, ignoring the variant sequence set in PIM

Resolved an issue where the full-text search API returned only the global attribute display order for Color values, so every product showed its colours in the same sequence and changing a product's variant order in PIM had no effect. The response now includes a variant display order value for each select value, reflecting the variant sequence configured in PIM for each product. This allows pages such as the Complete Catalog page to show colour swatches in each product's configured variant sequence. The addition is non-breaking, and existing fields remain unchanged. The value applies to configurable products only; Bundle and Grouped products are not included.

Z10-41379 / Z10LMC-4265 | Valid, active coupons intermittently failed to apply until a sync or Refresh All was performed

Resolved an issue where valid, active Coupons intermittently failed to apply and no discount showed in the cart, with results varying across users for the same Coupon at the same time. The Coupons only applied after a sync or Refresh All, even though their configuration had not changed. This occurred because promotion synchronization was not working consistently at start-up. Promotion synchronization has been corrected so that valid, active Coupons apply for all eligible users on every attempt without requiring a sync or refresh.

Z10-41508 / Z10LMC-4270 | Promotion tabs clicked from the Additional Attributes page opened the Promotion Information tab instead

Resolved an issue in Admin where clicking a tab such as Coupon Information from the Additional Attributes page of a saved Promotion opened the default Promotion Information tab instead. The requested tab now opens directly without first showing Promotion Information, making it faster to manage Promotion details. Related issues were also fixed, including a stray search bar, missing Find Product and Find Category buttons and discount fields on the Discount Information tab, Save & Close button visibility, and incorrect navigation to Custom Page tabs. The fix was verified across all supported Promotion types, including Save and Save & Close.

System Settings

Z10-41370 / Z10LMC-4263 | Imports remained stuck in Started status and import template mappings were deleted

Resolved an issue where Inventory and price import template mappings could be deleted or corrupted when Update Mapping ran during an import. Also fixed an issue where imports could stay stuck in Started status when empty import data was received. These stuck imports could block catalog publishing with an operation-already-in-progress message. Import requests with empty or missing import data are now rejected with an 'ImportData is required' error, and import requests with correctly provided data succeed.

Z10-41377 / Z10LMC-4264 | Custom Shipping Method were saved against a different shipping plugin

Resolved an issue where Shipping Method created or updated with the Custom Shipping Method were saved against another shipping plugin whose name contained the word Custom. After saving, reopening the shipping option under System Settings > Shipping > Manage Shipping showed the other plugin's name instead of Custom, and this could not be corrected because the Shipping Method cannot be changed on Edit. As a result, shipping rates at checkout could be calculated by the wrong provider. The correct shipping plugin is now selected by exact name, so the Shipping Method remains Custom after saving and reopening the record. Custom and supported third-party Shipping Methods continue to work as expected, including on Checkout and Quote pages.

Dev Center

Z10-40044 / Z10LMC-4123 | Product data exchange jobs using a custom processor failed with a request timeout

Enhanced the handling of product data exchange jobs that use a custom processor, which previously failed repeatedly with a request timeout and blocked Product updates from completing. The custom processor can now run in the background, so the Commerce Connector no longer times out while waiting for a large run to finish. Each internal data exchange now has its own log, and the main data exchange receives one final status after all internal exchanges finish. Timeouts in the Commerce Connector now return a clear timeout response. Optimized real-time pricing in the Commerce Connector to greatly reduce database calls per request; in load testing, the median cart pricing time dropped from about 30 seconds to about 1 second.

Open Source Improvements

Z10-41044 | Hidden categories still appeared in storefront navigation for guest users

Resolved an issue where a published category set to Hide Category = Yes still appeared in Shop Departments and storefront navigation for guest users, even though logged-in users no longer saw it. Previously, the storefront category menu was not refreshed when a single category was published, so guests could keep seeing a hidden category for up to about 1 hour by default, or until the whole catalog was published. The category menu now refreshes for guest users as well as logged-in users, so guests see the latest categories on first load and when moving between pages after a category is published. Behavior for logged-in users is unchanged.

Z10-41116 | Orders already fully in an open return appeared in the Create Return dropdown and led to a 'Page not found' page

Resolved an issue on the Create Return page in the Webstore, opened from My Account, where an order whose full quantity was already in an open return still appeared in the order dropdown. Selecting such an order sent the user to a 'Page not found' (404) page. Orders with no returnable quantity can no longer be selected in the Create Return dropdown, while eligible orders with remaining returnable quantity still appear. When no orders are eligible, the dropdown now shows the message 'Orders are not available for Return.' Previously, starting a return from the Return icon in Order History already showed that such an order was not eligible for return, so the two ways of starting a return did not behave the same.

Z10-41700 / Z10LMC-4297 | Cart product image did not load for products with a personalized logo

Addressed an issue where, after a Customer logged in, added a personalized logo and added the product to the cart, the cart showed "Image not available" instead of the preview image. The storefront's security filtering mistakenly treated the letters 'on' inside words such as 'personalization' as unsafe content and shortened the preview image address before it was saved with the cart item. Customized storefronts that still carry the older filtering should adopt the current version so image addresses containing 'on' within words are kept intact and personalized product images load properly in the cart.
