Release Information
Upgrade Note
Before upgrading, review the release notes for every version between the current version and the target version to ensure no critical upgrade information is missed. Important upgrade information, including breaking changes, prerequisites, configuration updates, database changes, and deprecated features, is documented in the release in which it is introduced and may not be repeated in later release notes.
Version Note
To ensure the new feature functions as intended, using the latest version of the Storefront is recommended. Older versions may support the feature partially or could lead to limited functionality or operational inconsistencies.

What's New
Backorder Visibility in Order Details and Printed Orders
Introduced backorder visibility in OMS order details. The backorder quantity and backorder date are now shown for backordered line items, which were not visible before. Backorder values appear next to the details of each order line item, and products that are not backordered show no backorder values. Printed Orders, including the print preview, also show the backorder quantity and date for backordered line items. Customer service, sales and operations teams can now find backordered items and their expected availability from the Order view or the printed copy. Backorder label changes apply only to new Orders, not to existing Orders. The backorder quantities and dates shown on the cart, checkout and Quote pages are estimates and may change until the Order is placed.
Key Features
- Shows the backorder quantity and backorder date with each backordered line item in OMS order details.
- Shows backorder information in both the print preview and the printed Order.
- Shows no backorder values for Products that are not backordered.
- Shows an arrow before the Product name, variant or add-on for Products that allow backordering, to avoid confusion.
- Recalculates the estimated backorder date and quantity on the cart, checkout and manage Quote pages in real time when the refresh is clicked.
- When the same Product is added to the cart more than once, Inventory is deducted from the most recently added item first.
Search and Filters in the Page Builder Select Image Modal
Until now, the Select Image modal in Page Builder image content blocks listed every image, with no way to filter them. This change applies to the Image and Text Image content blocks in Page Builder, which you open from Store Experience. Users can now search the Select Image modal by name and use the same filters available in the Media Explorer. Results update as you change the search text or the selected filters. When Page Builder runs inside the Admin, Select Image and Select Video open the Admin media popup, the same way Select Logo already does. Choosing an existing image works the same way as before.
Key Features
- Added search by image name to the Select Image modal.
- Added filters for File Name, Size, Height, Width, File Type and Folder.
- Filters support the Contains, Is, Begins With and Ends With operators, and you can apply up to 5 filters at once.
- The Size filter matches on bytes, while the Media Explorer shows sizes in KB.
- In the Admin, the media popup includes the folder tree, Browse/upload, name search, FILTER and paging.
- Select Image and Select Video now work the same way as Select Logo when Page Builder runs in the Admin.

Black Box Improvements
Accounts & Users
Z10-42015 | Webstore signup failed with a generic error even when valid data was submitted
Resolved an issue where new Customers who submitted the Webstore signup form with valid data saw the generic error "Unable to create user. Please check the request body with valid required fields." and no account was created. The failure occurred when a store had more than one default registered profile. Each store now keeps a single default profile, so duplicate profiles no longer block signup. Testing confirmed that signup works after the fix.
OMS
Z10-29043 | Custom attribute values set on a Quote were lost when the Quote was converted to an Order
Resolved an issue where the Order was created from a Quote without the custom attribute values that had been set on the Quote. Attribute values from the Quote are now copied to the Order in the background after the Order is placed, so the Order response is not delayed. Copying works for text, text area, number, date and file attribute types, and copied values stay unchanged when the Order status changes. Attributes that the Order cannot accept, such as those with no matching attribute or a different type, are skipped and logged. If the background copy fails, the failure is logged and the copy can be re-run manually, because there is no automatic retry.
Z10-41573 | Non-Refunded Amount help text was missing on the return summary during return creation
Resolved an issue where the Non-Refunded Amount help text was missing from the return summary while a return was being created and only appeared after the return was submitted. A help tooltip now appears beside the Non-Refunded Amount label on Admin and Webstore return screens, so Customers understand the charge before they submit a return. When Return Shipping is not ticked, return screens and emails now show the full Shipping, Shipping Discount and Tax rows, with Non-Refunded Amount shown above Return Total. The help text appears only on screen, where a Non-Refunded Amount line exists, and is not included in printed receipts or emails. The label is now consistently spelled Non-Refunded Amount, and refund calculations, saved values and Return Total are unchanged.
CMS
Z10-41856 / Z10LMC-4309 | Contact Us form submissions built with the Form Builder Content Block did not send emails
Resolved an issue where submitting a Contact Us form built with the Form Builder Content Block did not send emails to the configured address or to the User who submitted the form. The emails could fail silently even though the form submission appeared successful. Form Builder emails now use the email settings of the form's own store, so both the admin notification and the acknowledgement email are sent for each submission. Only Form Builder emails are affected by this change. Other store emails, such as order emails, are not affected.
Open Source Improvements
Z10-41705 | Return Receipt showed Return Total as $NaN and a blank Sub Total for rejected return lines
Resolved an issue where the Storefront Return Receipt, opened from My Account > Return History, showed the Return Total as $NaN and a blank Sub Total when return lines were rejected but the return status was still Submitted. The issue did not affect any money, because the actual refund amount was $0.00. Rejected lines are now left out of the totals. When no lines that are not rejected remain, the receipt shows $0.00 for Return Total and Sub Total, whatever the return status. If a total cannot be calculated on a receipt that has lines, Return Details shows a blank total instead of $NaN or an incorrect $0.00.
Z10-41805 / Z10LMC-4302 | Footer newsletter signup rejected valid email addresses containing an apostrophe
Fixed an issue where the "Sign up for email" field in the Webstore footer rejected valid email addresses with an apostrophe before the @ sign. The form showed "Please enter a valid email address." and did not send the signup. Newsletter signup now accepts these email addresses, including ones that also use plus signs or underscores, and saves them exactly as entered, with the same upper- and lowercase letters. Customers see a success message after signing up, and the signups appear under Newsletter Signups in the Admin. Invalid email formats are still blocked with validation messages. These include an apostrophe after the @ sign, spaces or consecutive dots. Submitting an email address that is already signed up still shows "Email address already exists." and does not create a second record. This change applies only to the newsletter signup. Other forms, such as register, contact us, feedback and stock notification, were not changed. Deploy the newsletter signup API before or together with the Webstore to apply this fix.
